This bar chart illustrates percentage of people who identify themselves as gay, lesbian, or something other than heterosexual. The chart presented in four different categories: age, ideology, locale and education. Each unit in these four categories is measured in percentage. Figures are, also, rounded.
In age category, we can see the tendency of non-heterosexiality raising with each generation, resulting in roughly ~200% growth from silent generation to gen. Z. Moving to ideology, there’s more of a pit hole between liberals and other two – Liberals – 21%, Moderates – 8%, and Conservatives – only 3%.
The other two, however, doesn’t present us with such significant differences as previous ones. locale – Cities (11%) and Suburbs (10%) have close numbers, and only Rural Areas is 7%. Education – graduates (9%), nongraduates – 10%. Therefore, we can conclude that, neither, locale nor education have correlation in non-heterosexual identification. At least, it’s not that impactful as age and ideology.
