Dear Glenda,
I hope you had a relaxing time last weekend. The reason I’m writing is to explain and apologise for the broken windows.
What happened was that on Tuesday morning I was studying in the living room, and it was really hot. So I opened some of the windows to let the air come in, but all of a sudden the wind blew and slammed the windows with a great force. For this reason, one of the windows cracked.
Anyway, I’d like to make up for it, and I’m willing to pay for the repairs. I asked my brother if he had known any contractor who could help us, and fortunately, he actually had. I contacted the company and scheduled the visit for Saturday if it is ok for you. I will come with them so I could be able to apologise to you personally and catch up as we have been not seeing each other for a long time.
Again, I’m really sorry for what I did, and I’m looking forward to chatting with you.
Best Regards,
Chris
