Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter in order to bring to your notice about a mistake in one of your newspaper articles printed yesterday entitled ‘The Road to Heaven – Rabinder Singh Aulakh.’ It was published on the third page of ‘The Economist’ column.
This article is one of the most awarded books written by my grandfather highlighting his travelling experiences to some of the hidden gems of the world. It lays out the crux of all the hardships that he had to face during his journey which gave him lifelong lessons and mesmerizing views as a result.
However, while going through the context I found that the reason for his death mentioned there was excessive bleeding due to animal attack, which is wrong. In fact, he had survived that attack without any major injuries. The real reason behind his demise, as mentioned in his biopic, was cardiac arrest which took place after he completed his journey.
As his writings are honoured worldwide for the inspiration they arouse among the travellers, I really feel it is vital to correct this mistake so that the right message can be conveyed to the readers.
I hope you make the amends at the earliest.
Yours faithfully,
Arsh Kaur Aulakh.
