Dear Sir ,

The objective of writing this letter is to let you know that I need a leave for one week because of my father’s knee surgery.

My father has injury on a knee in a road accident , as per doctors’ recommendation he gets the date for surgery on 25 June. My fathers need a proper care and treatment, and it will take while for my father to come back to their normal routine. So, I have to assist my father during his tough time. I will be not able to present between June 25-May 2.

I have done my previous projects which were allocated to me by company. For the forthcoming project my team will handle all and on time to time I will assist them through online meeting from my home . Our team will try to complete our project before time to make sure company’s workflow runs smoothly.

I hope you will understand my concern and approve my one week leave. I am waiting for your answer.
