Dear Jack,
I hope you’re doing well. I have some exciting news to share. I got into Google Inc. as a senior analyst. This position offers full-time work from home, and I’m totally loving the new work setup in my living room. This allows me to avoid the morning rush and hours of commuting in traffic and pollution. Although working remotely seems beneficial, it also has certain downsides. Due to a constant switch-over between work and life, the boundaries between them have blurred. I usually lose track of time and consequently end up working quite late into the night, sometimes even up to 10pm. Hence, I wanted to seek your guidance on how I can restrict myself from overworking. I know you have been a remote employee for a majority of your career and have managed to balance work-life perfectly. Please advise on how to schedule my time better, so that I have enough time to complete my professional duties and, at the same time, take care of my household chores efficiently. I would greatly appreciate your tips and tricks to tackle this situation.
Yours faithfully, Zack
