Dear Amy,
It has been a while since I’ve heard from you. I hope this letter finds you well. As winter is approaching, I am thinking of visiting you in Sydney and spending time with you where we can enjoy the sunset at Bondi beach which we had always wanted to but never had the chance.
I’ll like to share with you my travel plans. I have booked my flight on Qantas 79, which arrives at Sydney international terminal this coming Sunday, 7pm at. I have made a hotel reservation at Ridges Hotel, which is just stone throw away from international terminal. With the late arrival timing of the flight, I felt it is best to stay at a hotel accessible by foot upon arrival.
I certainly hope you would welcome me at the arrival hall when I touch down. I am so eager to meet you after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Recently, I am reading a travel magazine, which recommended a few must visit places in Sydney. Top in the list would be the Sydney opera house and harbour bridge. These places are iconic to Australia and travellers from all over the world would flock to these attractions for photo-taking. I will love to have a photo taken with you and set it as my facebook profile picture.
Besides, the city centre of Sydney, I am planning to visit the outskirts of Sydney. I am searching for mountain lookouts, where I can see the landscape of Sydney from above high. I find it therapeutic and calming when the wind breeze over my cheek while enjoying the scenery. Do you have any lookout suggestions where I can spend the afternoon? I’ll be renting a car and I hope you can join me for this sightseeing tour.
In the blink of an eye, we have been friends for almost ten years. It is my first time visiting your country and I am extremely excited to meet you. Let’s spend some quality time catching up. Hope to see you soon!
Best regards,
Jesmond
