Overall, it is evident that internet users generally recorded higher figures than computer users in most Arab countries. Furthermore, the UAE had the highest number of internet users, whereas Syria recorded the lowest number of internet users. Egypt and Morocco had the same number of computer and internet users.
Focusing on the countries where internet users were higher, the UAE recorded the highest figure at 340 users per 1,000 inhabitants, followed by Jordan with 69. Likewise, Lebanon stood at 62. By comparison, Oman accounted for 50, while Syria recorded the lowest number of internet users, at only 10. Overall, internet users remained higher than computer users throughout these countries.
Turning to the remaining categories, computer users exceeded internet users in Saudi Arabia, where the figures were 98 and 35, respectively. A similar pattern was observed in Kuwait with figures of around 130 and 100, respectively. Egypt and Morocco recorded the same number of users in both categories, at approximately 10 and 20. The UAE recorded the highest number of computer users, at around 160. By contrast, Egypt recorded the lowest figure for computer users.
