It is clear that the number of cases experienced significant fluctuations, with a dramatical growth followed by a sharp decline over the 35-year period.
In 1960, there were approximately 100 cases of X diseased occurred in Someland and this figure remained stable in the next five years. As the time pass the sufferer from this disease started rising up to 200 people in 1970. Gradually, this number climbed to a peak of 500 instances from 1965 to 1975 and remained stable in the next five years.
In contrast to earlier increase, from 1980 to 1990, X diseased showed a tremendous decrease to around 350 sufferers in 1985 and continuely reaching nearly zero by 1990. This trend persisted to the end of the period in 1995, with a neglegible number of the diseased report.
