The line graph below displays the prevalence of X disease in Someland between the years 1960 and 1995.

Overall, there is a significant growth of cases from 1965 to 1980. But, the number is gradually decreasing after 1980 and reached the minimum level untill the end. However, the case reached its maximum level between 1975 and 1980.

In the first five years, there was a slight increase in the number of cases of disease X, which was stood at about 100 cases. In 1970, the amount of the patients suffering from this disease continued to increase and has doubled the previous year’s number and accounted for 200 cases. The number of patients rose significantly and hit the peak in 1975, which totaled 500 cases and stayed unchanged for the next five years.

On the other hand, the spreading of disease slightly started falling and in 1980 it decreased between 400 and 300. Finally Someland was free of X disease in 1990. Subsequently, in 1995 too no cases were found. In conclusion, the disease end up at it’s peak level between 1975 and 1980 and again reached it’s minimum at 1990 to 1995.
