The given line graph illustrates the comparison of four different reasons for moving (employment, study, family/friends/adventure) to the capital city of a certain country based on a survey. It covers the period from 2000 to 2015.
In general, all the reasons saw upward patterns over the period. Although employment was the most popular reason to move in the years given, it had a unique pattern as it was to see a decline by the end of the period.
Looking at the data in more details, study was the only reason with significant growth, starting at around 25,000 voted, it hit a high of nearly 90,000 voted. In terms of family/friends, the number of people voted this reason to move increased stably in the first 10 years, reaching slightly over 20,000 in 2010. It then climbed slowly in the next 5 years to around 21,000. Likewise, a stable raise was shown by adventure with around 5,000 increase since the beginning of the period.
On the other hand, from 2000 to 2010, employment had an upward trend. The sharp increase happened in 2005 with around one and a half folded number, from 6,000 to approximately 88,000. This reason for moving peaked at over 90,000 in 2010, before falling to under 9,000, the same exact number as study at the end of the period.
