The bar chart illustrates the percentage of households in four countries such as Canada, Australia, Japan and Brazil that had access to different types of network connection in 2010,2015 and 2020.In detail,dial – up connections became seldom seen,while broadband and mobile data grew quickly.

In 2010,dial – up was more common in Brazil – 40%,but by 2020 this figure had dropped to 18%.Canada and Australia have also seen declines,from about 20% in 2010 to less than 10%.In Japan,this type of connection was initially low and by 2020 amounted to only 3%.

In 2010, broadband access in Japan was rare at only 35%, unfortunately,by 2020 this value had fell by 10%.In Canada and Australia it remained at 45 – 50%.

At the same time, mobile internet and fiber-optic connections were becoming increasingly popular in all countries. Japan had the highest share of fiber-optic users, rising from 25% in 2010 to 32% in 2020. In Brazil and Australia, mobile internet usage increased significantly, reaching 35% by 2020.
