The bar chart gives information about the percentage of people were born in Australia and were born outside Australia living in urban, rural and town between 1995 and 2010. Overall, it can seen clearly that the proportion of people living in cities has increased over times, while the percentage of people living in towns and rural areas has decreased.
In 1995, half of the individuals born in Australia lived in cities, while 20% people lived in towns and 30% in Rural areas. Meanwhile, 60% of people born outside Australia lived in cities, 10% in towns and 40% in Rural areas.
Regarding for 2010, the proportion of people born in Australia lived in cities rose sharply to approximately 65%. Next, there was a slight decline by 10% in the figure of individual born in Australia lived in Towns. Followed by falling moderately in people lived in Rural areas. Finally, the percentage of people born outside Australia lived in cities grew significant to 80%, with only 10% in towns and 5% in Rural areas.
