Overall, it is evident that the percentage of people who were living in cities, exhibited an icrease over the yeras among people born in Australia and outside Australia. The proportion of people living in other regions experienced a decline.

At the beginning of the period, approximately 50 percent of Australian citizens who were born in Australia, were living in cities, which exhibited a growth and reached almost 70 percent in 2010. Similarly, the proportion of people living outside the Australia highing to 80 percent from 60 percent in 1995. The share of people living in rural areas among people who were born inside the country, accounted second at around 30 percent in 1995, which decreased considerably to 10 percent in 2010. At the same trend, the percentage of people who were born outside the country and living in rural areas experienced a dramatic decline to 5 percent from 40 percent in 1995.

The share of living in towns among people who were born inside the countru turned half over the years and reached 10 percent in 2010. In contrast, the percentage people living in towns who were born outside the Australia, remained steady at around 10 percent over the years.
