Dear Mrs Barrett,

I am writing this letter regarding the advertisement posted by you in the Sunday Times, asking for some help this summer. I am interested in the role of a helper and can accompany you with your household chores this summer.

I am experienced in doing all day-to-day activities including cleaning, cooking, or buying groceries from the supermarket. Apart from this, I am excellent at communication, so if there is any work to be done by an outsider, I can contact them for you. For instance, if there is some plumbing or electrical work, I can get it done for you.

Since I am a graduate student and currently on summer holidays, I was looking for an opportunity to work, so that I can make some extra money and can get to meet new people. Also, being a part of the social team in my college, I always like to interact and socialize with people, and help them with anything possible.

Although I would be available for each day including weekdays and weekends, I might need some days off if in emergency as my aunt is in hospital, and sometimes I need to go to see her.
