Overall, it is readily apparent that the fixed lines’ subscriptions have remained unchanged over the mentioned period, with the United Kingdom dominating the number of subscription throughout the whole period; however, smartphone lines had some fuctuations, with Uruguay having the highest number of subscriptions at the end of the period.
Regarding the subscriptions to mobile phones per hundred, the U.K. had the highest number at the start of the period at one hundred, then it increased slightly to around 120 in 2006 and stayed roughly the same for the remainder of the period. Uruguay showed the biggest increase from less than 50 in 2005 to its highest point at almost 160 in 2013, surpassing Britain in 2009, leaving Eritrea which had the least numbers throughout the 10 years, with nearly 5 in most of the years.
The United Kingdom had by far the most fixed line subscriptions at slightly less than 60 per hundred people for most of the period, followed by Uruguay that started and ended at the same point at almost 31. Eritrea and India whad the lowest numbers over the mentioned duration, with India having a higher number at the start at almost 5, but both nations ended at the same number in 2015 at nearly 2.
