The diagram shows how a product’s life cycle affect the environmental issues. It shows how a product can go through another cycle of process from pre-productions until it getting used by the customer all over again until it gets disposed, and that is why it affects the environment. The issue is that if a product gets recycled, it will have to consume another materials and energy to re-produce it, however if it is not recycled, then it will increase the amount of the disposals.
There are in 7 steps in total of a products’ life cycle, started from the planning and design, and then the industry will collect the materials and energy resources to do the productions of the product. Followed up by the packaging and distributions, and then the goods will be sold by the sales to the end customers, and of course, they will use it and then decides whether it can get through another recycle or not, and the customers will be able to give feedbacks to the industry so that they can re-do the planning and designing of the item.
A life cycle of a product that can be recycled shows how an item can be sustainable although it will have to go through another process, at least it will lessen the number of trashes in the environment.
