Although maintaining a household is not considered being a job, housewives have around half of their time free. In addition, women who are employed part-time have 40 hours of their time without work.
Similarly, unemployed and retired people have the same number of hours in both sexes, although, men’s leisure time is around 90 hours, whereas women have less than 80 hours.
In contrast, both sexes employed full-time have the least leisure time, which coresponds to less than 40 hours for females and approximately 45 hours for males.
