The given table gives a data about the weight of inhabitants of a particular country between1999 and 2009.
Overall, it is clear from the table that the majority of people, both women and men were at a normal weight during the period. Although there were noticeable differences between the proportions of people based on their weight, some figures remained unchanged.
In 1999, 27% of women were below the healthy weight range and this trend increased by 2% after 5 years. However, their proportion decreased slightly to 28% in 2009. Although just below half of the female were in the normal weight in the beginning of the period, in 2004, their number increased to 51% (this figure also underwent a drop by 4% in 5 years). The quantity of over weighted women consisted of only 18% of them, which rised only to19% after ten years.
In the terms of male, their under waighted proportion increased slightly by 1 %(from 22% to 23%) between 1999 and 2009. Despite their proportion at other two factors underwent significant change in 1999 and 2004, the final figures showed the same quantity as women’s trend.
