Dear uncle,
I would like to start this letter by expressing my sincere and heartfelt apology for not attending the wedding ceremony of cousine Anne. Myself and Anne grew up with all the other cousines and we share a strong bond since our childhood. She was always a shoulder for me to lean on. I consider myself as the most misfortunate man who missed his cousines wedding.
I was all set to attend the wedding but an unexpected work appoinment shattered all my plans. My boss wanted me to meet a very important client in person to discuss about a million dollar consignment. I had no choice but to obey his order.
I will be out of the country for the next to weeks associated with the project. I have expressed the inconveniences this have caused to my personal life and my boss promised me a three weeks paid vacation as soon as my meeting is done. I am planning to organize a trip to Disney land which includes all our close family members. I am so certain that it will give everyone a chance to have some fun togather and I would like to use that as a chance to compensate my absence at the wedding.
Looking forward to get back from you soon,
yours lovingly,
krish
