Dear Mr. Ali,

I hope you find this letter in good health and high spirits. I am writing to you in hope of getting a favour of paying the rent late this month since i have been living in your apartment for a very long time.

This month has been a tough one for me regarding finance. I had to pay my six month semester fees in May causing a delay in the payment of your rent. I also bear all expenses by myself. I am doing a part time job to fulfil my financial needs so that i can lessen my family’s burden.

I am trying my level best to arrange this month’s rent in the coming month. I have asked help from my family to send me money so that i can pay off your rent in the first week of June.

I assure you that there will be no delay in the payment of rent in the future as i have already cut down on my expenses to minimal. Moreover, i have also starting saving the rent’s money from my part time job.

I hope this is acceptable but please contact if there is a problem.
