Dear Landlord,

Hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter requesting to pay house rent little bit late then the usual time due date. I really feel bad about not able to pay rent timely manner because of the undergoing financial issues.

There has been a two major reason behind it . I had to send certain amount of money to help my family back in my home country. My uncle has been hospitalized from last couple of weeks in ICU. So, I am providing helping hand to them by paying hospital bills. On the other hand , I have hurt my back by slipping on wet surface. The doctor has recommended me to take complete rest for at least two weeks until my body gets healed. I have took few days off from workplace as I am unable to perform any physical movements like walking, standing and so on.

I reassured you that this would be last time happening such a delay in paying rent on time. I have always been disciplined in paying my rent since last one year and this first time such things has came up. I hope you understand the situation and make an appropriate decision and your support would really matter during my tough time.
