As you know, I had to go briefly go back to my hometown as where my mother was ill. She is doing fine now but I have run into a financial difficulty this month. You have been the best landlord and have always accommodated all my requests. I too have never delayed with my payments in the two years that I have been living in your apartment.

To avoid any inconvenience in the future, I will see to it that I keep aside, rent amount of equal to two months, so that I am never delayed again.

I hope you will consider this request and forgive me for the delay.
