The bar chart illustrates the percentage of Internet users across different age groups in a given year.Overall, Internet usage was highest among younger people and declined steadily with age. The proportion of users dropped significantly among those aged 50 and above.

[21:09, 13/10/2025] Sir Laal Khan: The 18-24 age group recorded the highest Internet usage, with nearly 100% of individuals using the Internet. The second-highest group was 25-34, with around 90% users. Usage then decreased slightly among those aged 35-44 at roughly 80%. This indicates that the majority of adults under 45 were regular Internet users. It is clear that the dramatic increase was only among the younger peoples.

[21:16, 13/10/2025] Sir Laal Khan: By contrast, the figures for older groups were much lower. Around 60% of people aged 45-46 used the Internet, while the proportion fell sharply to about 40% among those aged 55-64. The lowest rate was observed among people aged 65 and above, with approximately 30% using the Internet. This pattern suggests that Internet use declines consistently with increasing age.
