It is highlighted that people aged between 18 and 24 were the most connected to the internet, reaching just over 80%. As people age reaching 25, their connectivity to the internet devices drops, reporting approximately 80%. Moreover, the age group ranged between 35 and 44 highlighted just less than 80% making it the third most connected group. Despite the small gap between the former group and people aged 45 to 54, the percentage points note a significant downfall of 10 points. Additionally, a huge variation between individuals aged between 55 to 64 and 65+ is highlighted, where the least connected group are people aged just over 65 with nearly 30%, despite the negligible age difference, approximately 50% of 64 years old are accessing the internet.
In conclusion, internet usage reported an inverse relationship with age, making teens the most connected with just over 80%, and adolescences the least engaged in internet with approximately 30%.
