Rishi this side. I am a student of electrical engineering at IIIT, Allahabad. By the recommendations of my professors, I have become the coordinator of the upcoming event, “India’s Culture”. After several rounds of discussions, the committee has decided to host the event on campus. The programme aim is to showcase India’s unique culture and heritage to foreign students. It also focuses to help outsiders understsand India’s customs to eradicate stereotypical thought process caused due to misinformation and prejudices circulated on the internet.
It is worth noting that India’s culture is so diverse that makes it impossible to showcase its culture fully in a single event. Thus, the event will showcase most common aspects of the Indian culture. For example, a seminar about Hinduism will be held for 30 minutes which is the most important highlight of the event.
You are being cordially invited to attend the event. The dining, and the living expenses will be covered by the institution itself. To enhance the experience, guests will be given a choice to volunteer at Gurudwara or an old-aged home. Although, it is not mandatory.
Note : It is mandatory to carry ID card issued by institution, otherwise entry will be prohibited.
Thanks,
Rishi Ratan Pandey.
