Dear Rose,

I am writing to invite you to a family get together that will be happening in my family on the 2nd of September, 2026.

The main reason this party is holding is because I will be returning to the country last week of August and I want to have a surprise party with my family. You know it’s been three years I relocated to Canada and since them I’ve not been to the country. Moreover, I informed them I will be comimg back home this year but didn’t mention the specific month. So, I will want to be surprised since it’s been long we saw each other.

There are some plans I put in place for the celebration. Firstly, the party will be held in our family house at Abeokuta. I made arrangements with an event planner who will in charge of the planning. The garden will be decorated with ballons and flowers and we would have a family dinner where varieties of food will be available. There would be light music playing so as to make the party interesting. There would be lots of games such as Charade and Whot.

It would be crucial if you attend the party because I want you to supervise the planning since am not around. It would be nice seeing you and your family after many years because I’ve missed you deeply and this would be an opportunity for us to reunite and gist about life and work in general. This would definently be a beautiful moment for us.
