Dear Aliyu,

Hope this meets you well. I am writing to invite you to be part of the organizing committee of a reunion I am putting together for our secondary school class. This reunion will be to commemorate our 10 years of graduating. It is also an avenue for those of us who have not met in a long time to reconnect with one another again. Also, some of the activities we intend to carry out are going to be a way of giving back to the community that played a part in shaping us into what we are today.

The proposed date for this reunion is 12th August 2026, which coincides with the school’s graduation ceremony. The time will be 2pm prompt, shortly after the school’s ceremony ends. It will take place in the school hall.

I would like you to be in charge of contacting our mates and confirming their attendance. That way we can plan effectively with a definite number.

Please confirm if you would be able to handle this role. I look forward to seeing you at the event.
