Dear Residents,

I am writing to invite you to take part in an exciting new community garden project that will be starting in our neighbourhood very soon.

The community garden will provide many benefits for local residents. It will be a shared green space where people can grow fresh vegetables and flowers, spend time outdoors, and build stronger relationships with neighbours. In addition, the project will help improve the local environment and promote a healthier lifestyle.

The initial setup day will take place on Saturday, 20 July, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the vacant lot next to the community centre on Green Street. Everyone is welcome to join for the whole day or for any part of the event.

On the day, we will need volunteers to help with tasks such as clearing the land, preparing soil beds, planting seeds, and setting up basic fencing. No previous gardening experience is required, and all tools will be provided. If possible, please wear comfortable clothes and bring drinking water.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact me by Friday, 18 July. We would be delighted to have your support.
