Dear Neighbour

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing this letter to inquire your assistance on looking after my house while i am away. It simply puts my minds at ease knowing that a person I have known for years is keeping an eye on my house. Also, if you could, can you make sure to water my plants and pick up any packages or mails.

The reason I am asking for such a favor is simple. As you may know, I have had rather challenging year as a farmer. Thus, I am planning to indulge in a week-long vacation from 11th to 18th December in the island of Hawaii. I believe, this vacation would help me to regain my energy and lets me forget the worries of this world for a week. I am thrilled to see new cities and to befriend some strangers in the island.

Please let me know if you’re available, and if you need anything in return, I’d be happy to return the favor whenever you need it!
