Band 9: You are planning to move to another city for work and have found a company that provides accommodation for new employees. Write a letter to the company. In your letter: explain why you are moving; ask about the types of accommodation available; ask about the cost and facilities provided. Begin your letter with: Dear Sir or Madam,

Note: Both the topic and the answer were created by one of our users.

I am writing to inquire about the accommodation available to new employees. I am currently living in Regina with my wife and five-year-old daughter, but I plan to move back to Saskatoon in December after completing my studies at the University of Regina. My family and I previously lived in Saskatoon and would like to return there to continue our careers and reconnect with our friends and relatives.

I would like to know what types of accommodation are available and in which areas of the city they are located. As my daughter will be starting school in January, I would particularly prefer accommodation in a location close to a school.

I would also appreciate information about the cost and facilities included with the accommodation. In particular, I would like to know whether parking is available, as my wife and I both own cars and would require parking for both vehicles.

I look forward to hearing from you with further details. Please let me know if you require any additional information from me.

Yours faithfully,

XYZ
