Dear Lewis, I’m writing to let you know that I missed my flight because the airline’s staff messed up. That’s why I didn’t come to your birthday last weekends. Sorry about that, and I hope you’ll understand.
Well, I checked into the business lounge an hour before my departure, and the receptionist told me she’d give me a shout when the aircraft was boarding.
Sadly, even though she’d told me that the plane was delayed by an hour, it left on time while I was still chilling in the lounge.
When I went to the gate, the gate staff shouted at me for being late for the flight. I was confused at first, and then they threatened to call the cops and have me thrown out of the airport. They removed my bag from the plane and checked me out of airport. I spent several hours trying to get my money back from the company and it totally ruined my day. I had to cancel my reservation at the hotel and meeting with a friend of mine.
So why don’t we meet up somewhere later this month, like at Stadium? What about playing football together at the field on the weekend? I’ll leave it up to you to choose where to meet. See you soon!
Best wishes,
Sherniyaz
