Dear Anna,
It was great to hear that you’re thinking of going camping this summer. I honestly think it would be right up your street, especially since you’ve always enjoyed spending time outdoors and getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Waking up surrounded by nature and sitting around a campfire in the evening would certainly be a refreshing change of pace.
That said, camping does have a few drawbacks. The weather can be unpredictable, so heavy rain could put a damper on the whole trip. You may also find it difficult to get a good night’s sleep, particularly if the ground is uneven or the campsite is noisy. On top of that, you’ll have to make do with fairly basic facilities, which might take some getting used to. I’d therefore recommend investing in a decent sleeping bag and checking the forecast beforehand.
As for joining you, I’d be more than happy to come along! I’ve been meaning to spend more time in the countryside, and this sounds like the perfect opportunity. Just let me know when and where you’re planning to go, and I’ll sort out my equipment.
Take care,
