Dear Jacky,

My name is Gurjit and I am first-year student in Business Management course at St Clair College. I am writing to you because I have a problem with the project you assigned about social media. The due date was last week and I have not completed my project yet and i am really apologies for that. As you know, I have been absent for ten days from the class because I had symptoms of COVID-19 and doctor recommended me to isolate myself. I am still recovering from it . So, I only managed to get the readings from google classroom. You can see your records I have never missed any assignment before this during my entire course.

However, I am requesting you to give me one-week extension as i am so behind at my work. I hope you will take my illness into consideration and grant me an extension.
