Dear Sir,

My name is Saman Choudhary, and I am enrolled in your Business studies course. I am writing to inform you about the delay of my project that I had submitted last week.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to complete my assignment on time due to some unexpected personal circumstances. During last week, a close family member was seriously ill and admit in hospital. I have to look after him, and my all time spending to manage household responsibilities. Therefore, I could not focus properly on my project. I tried to do some parts but it is still incomplete.

I am very sorry for delay. I would like to request you please give me one week more so I can complete my project and submited it.
