Band 7+: You attended a music concert organized by your college but you did not like the arrangements for the student area. Write a letter to the chancellor and include: a. why you think the arrangements were not proper; b. explain why the college should do something about it; c. propose solutions for the problems you faced.

Dear sir,

I am writing this letter to formally express my concerns about the arrangements of the recently organised music concert by our college.

Although, in the concert college authority has put in great amount of efforts by bringing Hardy and his band, but, the safety standards were not met. There were no fire extinguishers near the stage and the acoustic electrical equipments. Additionally, there was only a single way of entry and exit for the audience, which would have been critical for evacuation during any emergency.

As our college authority is responsible for the life and safety of its staff, students and the guests, and in case a fire incident had occurred, it could have resulted in loss of life and property damage, hence, resulting in loss of reputation of the college.

Moreover, to prevent the repetition of such a scenario again, an audit team should be setup before organising such an event. So that any such gaps could be identified, and can be closed by taking further actions.

I hope that the management will give their kind attention towards this matter.
