Dear Mrs. Zuhra,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my sincerest apologies for losing the borrowed book on agreed time. I understand the inconvenience this may have caused and deeply regret any difficult it might have created.
The loss occured due to an unexpected situation. I accidentally left the book in a taxi on my way home.
Unfortunately I did not know the driver’s details or the car number, making it difficult retrieve the book. I feel really bad about losing the library book.
Could you please tell me what the possible way to resolve this issue? Should I replace the book with a new copy or there is a fine I need to pay, please let me know, and I will address it promptly.
I assure you that I will be more carefully in the future to prevent such incident.
Thank you for undestanding and patience.
Yours sincerely,
Sayyor Mergen
