The line graph indicates the Europeans of various age groups who visited a gym at least once a month from 1990 to 2010.
Overall, all data in this graph saw an upward trend. In addition, the 25-34 age group made up the majority of time in the gym at the end of the period, while the opposite was true for the 45-and-over age bracket over the period shown.
In terms of the younger age groups, the data for the 18-24 age bracket reached about 7 percent, which was lower than the data for the 25-34 age group by 2 percent in 1990. Before the percentage of people who belonged to the 18-24 and 25-34 brackets hit the highest point at 58 percent and 50 percent in 2010, those percentages were similar in 1999.
Regarding the older age groups, the figures for the 35-44 and 45-and-over cohorts were approximately the same, 5 percent and 4 percent respectively. Between 1990 and 2010, the rate of the 45-and-over category was left behind by around 19 percent compared to the rate of the 35-44 category.
