Dear Director of Student Service,

I hereby to write this letter to inform you that I lost my student identification card (ID) this mornig as I went to the class.

This accident affect me in several incovinient conditions, especially in the context of academic affairs. it hinders me from entering library as the librarian reaquire my ID to give me access. While on the contrary, I highly need references for my papers and class assignment.

Moreover, it hinders me from having my benefit as student, especially in the context of living as student. I lack of opportunities to have discount for public transportation, from entering my dormintory as the receptionist always check students’ identification card when the want to enter the building, etc.

Hence, Tthrough this letter, I request to you a new identification card.

I look forward to hearing good new from you as soon as possible
