Dear Madam Aston,

I am Kairiya Viel from the Architecture Department. My student number is 071704, and I am here to send my apologies for my unexplained absence and to also explain what had actually happened. Last week, while I prepared for the big exam, I caught the flu. I had been working extremely hard on a research paper prior to that week which made me exhausted, and thats the reason why I caught the flu. I went to the hospital and after my check-up my doctor gave me a note indicating that I was too ill to attend any of my exams, and that I should prioritise my health first. I was originally planning on submitting the evidence, but due to my illness getting worse, I was not able to. I am in deep regret that I was not able to send the evidence of my illness and that I was not able to explain my situation to the univeristy. I am willing to accept any extra work to be able to try and attempt the exam again. Please re-consider my situation, thank you.
