To begin with, I found your book, “A Guide for Tourists Who Want to Visit Iran”, helpful and informative, especially for those who want to visit that country for the first time. The majority of the information was correct, although I found some incorrect info, for example, the location of Takhte Jamshid and the population of Isfahan. As an Iranian tour guide, I would like to provide help to address this issue.
According to the most recent data, the population of Isfahan city is about 4 million people, which is nearly half the number you have stated in your book. In addition, Takhte Jamshid is located in the suburbs of Shiraz city, not Isfahan. As you may know, Shiraz and Isfahan are two completely different cities and both have numerous tourist attractions including ancient monuments as well as breathtaking scenery.
Finally, I believe this misinformation should be dealt with as it may confuse tourists and may affect the reliability of your book. While I think the incorrect info about the population of Isfahan might not cause serious issues, since many tourists opt to visit Takhte Jamshid, they might go to a completely different city if they rely on the information provided in your book about its location. In order to avoid causing inconvenience, I think this kind of sensitive information should be double checked and amended in case there are any mistakes.
