Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to bring to your notice an unfortunate event that took place last week on 2nd March, due to the securities reasons at the airport made me miss my flight to Sydney.
As there financial year is coming to an end, I had to travel from Toronto to Sydney for a business meeting on 2nd March 2024. The flight was scheduled at the right time at 2 p.m. EST. As a responsible traveler, I reached the airport 3 hours before the time of the flight, but due to some server issues in the kiosk system of your esteemed airline the system was not scanning my boarding pass. Even after informing the ground staff about the issue, I was not allowed to board the flight.
As the business meeting was already set up well in advance, I had made all the arrangements of my stay at a 3-star hotel in Sydney. I had also booked a conference hall for the meeting, but due to the unfortunate event I had to reschedule the meeting and had to suffer a loss CA$3000 on all the bookings.
I wanted to bring this matter to you as I expect a compensation for the loss that I have suffered due to the shortfall in the services provided by your airline company. I have rescheduled the meeting and also have a travel insurance with your insurance and these aspects are covered under the insurance claim.
Thanking you
Yours faithfully,
Raj Masand
