Dear sir or madam,

I am writing to inform you that I have missed my flight A1J35 which was scheduled from Mumbai to Tokyo on 18th May at 20:00 hours due to mismanagement of staff at airport.

You might find this hard to believe but I had to connecting flight at Srinagar where it took me 3 hours to find my bags because of which I missed my flight. Later, I was told by an officer that my luggage will be moved directly to another flight which was without prior notice.

Due to this, I couldn’t attend important meeting to be held in Tokyo. I immediately informed my employer and he asked me to arrive in the next flight so when I checked online your next flight is scheduled on 21st May at 16:00 hours.

I would thereby request you to accommodate me in next flight as soon as possible in which I can travel and attend that meeting.
