Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to complain about the flight I missed due to a problem with your booking system. I booked a flight to go from Moscow to Abu Dhabi on July 27th (flight EY66) with your airline. However, at the registration desk, your representative informed me that there had been a double booking, and that there was no seat for me on the plane.
This situation would not have caused so much inconvenience if my flight had not been a transit flight. On July 27th, in Abu Dhabi, I was supposed to have a two-hour stopover and then fly to my final destination, Madrid, with your airline as well (flight EY89). Because of my canceled flight, I had to buy not just one, but two more tickets, which cost me $850. I am sending you the receipts here enclosed, along with the confirmation of double booking for the flight EY66.
Therefore, I expect to have compensation for two additional flight tickets and a refund for the flights I had not been able to take.
