My name is Helen Rose and I am from Toronto, Canada. I am writing this letter to inform you that the flight that i booked with your airline has been cancelled and request you to compensate me for the delay.
I booked Airbus(ab124j0) from Frankfurt to Toronto on June 9, 2024, which was supposed to take off at 4.30 pm and arrive at 2.00am (June 10). I boarded two hours prior to the flight and was waiting in the gate, where I came to know that flight is cancelled due to some technical failure. I contacted your staff over there to know about further procedure and they let me know that the next flight will be at 10.00pm. Moreover I booked an Business class ticket , on the other hand they provided me an economy seat.
Due to the flight cancellation, I was unable to attend the a very crucial metting which might affect my Job, additionaly i had to adjust in an economy seat in the price of business class which disturbed both my physical and mental health. Due to this reasons I request you to compensate me for the trouble I caused as it is mentioned in your Airline policy.
As I am a regular customer of yours, I would appreciate if you can compensate me in the fare of my next flight or any other method is also acceptable.
