Dear Talita,
I’m writing to apologize for the noise coming from my house on Saturday night. We were celebrating my brother’s 30th birthday, and between the music and everyone talking, things got much louder and went on far later than I had originally planned.
I know how frustrating it is to have your sleep disrupted, especially on a weekend, and I’m really sorry for being so inconsiderate. I should have let you know about the party beforehand or at least turned the volume down as the night went on.
Next time we host any kind of gathering, I’ll make sure to give you a heads-up well in advance and keep the music strictly inside after 10 PM.
Thanks so much for your patience with us. Please let me know if there’s a good time this week for me to drop by with a small token of apology!
Warmly,
Farah
