I hope you are doing well. I am writing to apologize for not taking proper care of your garden while you were on vacation. I know I promised to look after it, but I could not spend enough time there because of my busy school schedule and some unexpected family tasks.

At the moment, the garden needs some attention. A few plants look dry because I could not water them regularly. Also, some weeds have grown in the flower beds, and the grass is a bit longer than usual. I am really sorry for this situation.

To fix the problem, I can come this weekend and clean everything. I will water the plants, remove the weeds, and cut the grass. If you prefer, I can also ask my friend – who has more experience with gardening – to help me so the garden returns to normal quickly.
