Dear Sir or Madam,

I hope this letter finds you well. Last weekend, our company held a conference at your hotel. After returning home, I discovered that a couple of important documents were missing. I realized that I might have left them in the table drawer in the room where I stayed.

The folder contained a vital contract signed personally by our new partners, who have already traveled to Europe. It would be time-consuming to have them sign it again and send it back to us. We urgently require these documents to proceed with our plans.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could send these documents back to us. Your assistance is minimal – you just need to hand the folder to the carrier from the delivery company at your convenience.

I apologize for any inconvenience I have caused. I hope you understand the situation and can lend us a helping hand. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
