Dear College Administrator,
I am writing to inform you of my decision to cancel my booking for the Introduction to Cybersecurity course. As you already know, I had originally booked this course as a prerequisite to the main Cybersecurity course. I believed it was a necessary introduction to system security, considering how broad and diverse the field is.
However, after speaking with a previous student who had taken the same course, I realised how unnecessary it would be. He explained to me the difference between both courses and how little significance it would be to take an introductory class. In his words, most of what is taught in the pre-class would be reviewed in the main course, and considering that I already have background knowledge in tech, I shouldn’t expect much difficulty understanding it.
I have therefore come to the conclusion that it would be more meaningful to book the main course instead, and I hope my request is granted.
Yours Faithfully,
Bloom
