Apology for Damaged the book

Dear Dhanush G,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing to sincerely apologize for damaging the book I borrowed from you.

Unfortunately, while I was reading it at a cafe, I accidentally knocked over my cup of coffee, and some of it spilled onto the book. I quickly wiped it dry, and at first it seemed fine. However, after the pages dried completely, they became wrinkled and slightly stained. Since the damage was not immediately visible, I did not realize how badly the book had been affected until later.

I feel terrible about what happened because I know the book is valuable to you. To make amends, I would like to replace it with a new copy. If the book is no longer available, I will gladly reimburse you or find another solution that you are happy with.

Please accept my sincere apologies for my carelessness. Thank you for your understanding.

Kind regards,

Karthikeyan M
