Dear Ahmed,

I hope you’re doing well. I’m writing to express my sincere apologies for damaging the book that I recently borrowed from you. I feel terrible about what happened, especially because I know how much you value your book; I hope you’ll forgive me.

While I was reading the book, I decided to have a cup of coffee. Unfortunately, I wasn’t paying enough attention, and I accidentally spilled some coffee on it. Although I tried to clean the pages immediatelly, it didn’t work with me, and several pages were badly damaged.

To make up for my mistake. I’d like to replace the book with new copy, if the same edition is no loger available, I’ll be happy to buy you the latest edition or reimburse you for fuul cost so that you can choose a replacement yourself. please let me know what work with you.

Once again, I’m truly sorry for the inconvenience. I promise to be more careful in the future.
